AXIS Pneumatic conveying systems are suitable for conveying material along any axis.

AXIS: The ultimate Pneumatic Conveying System for handling your difficult to convey materials. Pneumatic Conveying is a widely adopted means of transporting dry bulk material either by vacuum or by pressure of air. Depending on the material to be conveyed, air streams with specific velocity and carries the material to the final destination.

Convenience of routing Pneumatic Conveying System horizontally and vertically is an added advantage over other conventional methods of conveying. To be more precise, Pneumatic Conveying system can be used on any circuitous route. Powders, pellets, granular and fibrous materials can be very efficiently conveyed by Pneumatic Conveying Systems

Types of Axis Pneumatic Conveying Systems:

Lean Phase Conveying Systems convey material with considerably lower air to material ratio and are more suitable for moderate rate of conveying over reasonable distance.

These type of systems have following advantages:

  • Suitable for handling reasonably moderate quantity of material
  • Can have multiple pick up and multiple discharge points
  • Easy maintenance of parts and equipment
  • Works at low pressures

Lean Phase Conveying Systems are categorised into:

Pressure Conveying Systems: These are more suitable for handling granular and palletised material which are required to be discharged at number of points. Suitable size of conveying pipeline with long radius bends of 10 diameter radius are selected, to keep pressure drop to minimum during conveying. Diverter valves are used to divert the material to designated discharge point.

Vacuum Conveying Systems: These are better option for handling materials with multiple pickup and are more suitable for powders and materials having finer contents. Multiple pickups points are connected to the common conveying pipeline through either rotary discharge valves or other suitable feeding devices depending on the particle size and characteristics of the material to be handled.

Dense Phase Conveying Systems are better options for conveying powders or fine crystalline material with higher quantity over longer distances. The high material to air ratio in these type of systems require prime movers with high pressure, hence air compressor with around
7 kg/cm² pressure air delivery are used.

Being a low velocity conveying system it offers, following added advantages :

  • Very gentle conveying with minimal abrasion or breakdown of the product
  • No separation of the material during conveying
  • Easy maintenance
  • Reliability and Durability
  • Handling of high volume of material over longer distances
  • Suitable for conveying materials like fly ash etc.

The Axis Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying system has salient features of online monitoring system and provision of conveying cycle adjustment at site as per process requirement. Axis Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying are manufactured in stainless as well as mild steel construction depending upon the type of material to be handled. These systems can handle either single material or mixture of material.
